BASS is a legally constituted not for profit organization:
BASS believes in positive partying, in showing some respect when youre out having a good time.
Too many think the two dont mix that if youre going to party on then you must be some kind of deranged baby eating monster from hell.
"Not so", we say BASS believes the party is a part of the human condition it makes the 9-5, the mortgage, the traffic jams and all that stuff almost worth it.
Comprising of Brighton based free party sound systems, BASS is dedicated to raising positive awareness of the free party culture as well as ensuring that the free party scene is both safe and responsible.
Though only together since June 2001, we have organised several club events and two beach events, and in the process have raised funds to send members from each system on first aid, health and safety and doorman courses. We are also liasing with local police about how we can hold free parties without causing problems for local people and authorities
We have pooled our collective resources, talents and sounds to create BASS the musical at Brightons Concorde2 club.
Expect to hear sets from all our member sounds systems, we take no prisoners when it comes to the dance floor; expect quality dance music played through a decent rig with maximum help our free party DJs, VJs and free party crew.
Be proud to party on, just be sure to do it properly
